Aleena was referred to Inspira as she was hoping to gain some knowledge and advice concerning the graduate job market and how to best promote yourself. Aleena spoke with an Inspira Skills and Development Adviser, Lisa. Having been travelling before the pandemic Aleena returned home due to the uncertain times. She was undecided on what role or industry she wanted to pursue and felt she lacked confidence in deciding which vacancies would be the perfect match for her.
Inspira facilitated a group workshop for local graduates in similar situations which helped her feel less isolated. Together, Lisa and Aleena went over her strengths and skills which, she already had under her belt. After her 1:1, Aleena was now completing applications to a high standard and had a strong CV. She had learnt to have confidence in herself, in what she was doing and that her hard work would pay off.
