Inspira offers FREE FLT courses across Cumbria and Lancashire, with the aim of equipping people with the skills, qualifications and experience they need to kickstart their careers in the warehousing and logistics industry.

As part of these courses, participants also attend a FREE two-hour Multiply session, designed to build confidence in using numbers and improving budgeting skills. This initiative helps enhance individuals’ qualifications and job prospects, alongside the FLT training.

Lee Anderson enrolled on one of Inspira’s fully funded FLT courses in June 2024, and after successfully completing his practical training, we explored the possibility of funding him through an instructor course, as it was something he was interested in pursuing...

Fast-forwarding to September, Lee completed an intensive 2-week instructor course at an FTW training Academy in Birkenhead, passing the course with flying colours.

Early in September, Lee secured his first full-time FLT Instructor role with FTW Training, where he will cover courses across the Northwest at various training centers and at customer premises; helping people who are in the same position that he was in.

Lee aspires to become a Tutor and Assessor, and his employers are excited to provide him with their full support.

This is an example of an ideal outcome. Lee has a strong desire to succeed, a genuine passion for helping learners and has experienced first-hand how transformative these courses can be.
