Inspira takes its safeguarding responsibilities seriously and is dedicated to protecting the interests and well-being of all its customers. Their safety is our top priority.
We actively support the Prevent Duty, recognising the importance of preventing individuals from becoming involved in or supporting terrorist activities, and we remain committed to fulfilling this legal obligation with diligence and care.
Safeguarding is about protecting individuals, especially children and vulnerable adults, from harm, abuse, or neglect. It involves creating a safe environment where everyone feels secure and supported.
The national Prevent strategy, aims to stop people from becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism. You can find out more about preventing extremism at www.actearly.uk
Extremism is the advocacy or support for extreme beliefs or actions, often in a political or religious context, that are far outside society’s mainstream attitudes and can potentially lead to violence or suppression of rights.
Radicalisation is the process through which individuals come to adopt extreme beliefs, ideologies, or positions - often to the point of justifying or supporting violence as a means to achieve their goals.
We are committed to promoting equality and the British values of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance for those with different faiths and beliefs to all our learners as part of their learning experience.
